With spring and summer approaching , I want to talk about a few things.
1. If you’re doing a benefit for someone or a charity and you want a DJ I will gladly volunteer my time no charge necessary and if you want me to announce for a school sporting event like announce your players or play, walk out music or just play music in general. Just please make sure that my admission is covered and maybe throw some team merch my way I’m a huge sports fan and love wearing clothes of sports teams, especially hats.
2. My $50 an hour rate is mainly for like dances, bars, weddings, major parties, birthdays, or places where there’s gonna be a lot of people because I have to put more work into getting the event enjoyable. I don’t set flat rates for events because usually that depends on how many people are scheduled to show up and I understand not everyone who says they are going to show up actually shows up.
3. I am planning on doing karaoke in the near future. I just have to get some more equipment in order to make that possible.
4. And if you want me to do like a town event for the kids, and you don’t have a lot of funds I understand. Please still contact me! I want to give back to my Community and if it’s possible, maybe encourage attendees to drop a small donation into a tip jar or maybe I could work something to where like if someone has a song request they put a dollar into the jar.
5. The extra money is nice and is very helpful, but I’m not doing this to be greedy. I am honestly doing this to meet people and build relationships within my community and surrounding areas and music is a huge passion of mine and every gig that I have done thus far has been absolutely amazing.

Another flyer design thanks to my friend Jimmy. Not sure what custom packages I’m gonna offer yet. It’s just easier to do an hourly rate. But if you get with me, I’m sure we could work something out. With baseball season around the corner if you need somebody to announce your players as they come to the plate, play them some walkout music, or even some music before the game to hype them up, hit me up I’ll gladly do it. I love going to some baseball games every year!

Good evening everyone! After meeting and talking with several people that are very supportive of my dj business, I have decided to charge $50 an hour for ANY event I do moving forward. As I mentioned previously any amount I earn djing will be put back into my business to help me purchase equipment that’ll make the events that I do as good as they possibly can be and dj equipment is not always the cheapest. So far, I have had 4 gigs and all of my audience has been fantastic and the reviews and positive feedback have meant the absolute world to me! With that said, several people have asked me about pricing. Now, I don’t claim to be a professional dj, nor do I think I’ll ever be. I simply provide music and try my best to entertain my audience. I’m not the type of dj who mixes songs together. I just simply stream music from Apple Music. So with all of that said, I have decided that for small events such as private birthday parties and school dances I will charge $30 an hour so if the event last from 6 to 8, that will be $60 total for the evening and for bigger events Such as events for towns and businesses such as bars, I will charge $50 an hour so for a two hour gig that would be $100. I believe there’s prices are fair and affordable. I don’t look to make a bunch of money doing this, but rather building lasting friendships and meeting new people and doing something for my community. Any money that I receive is put back so that I can purchase equipment overtime to make my gigs the best they can possibly be.
