Immortal before her time and revenge in her heart... meet Countess Rose Baettarey. 🖤🌹🖤

Before the turning

Rose was the daughter of a wealthy French aristocrat. From a young age, the was called The Countess, because she always loved the finest things. When she turned 18 she was sent to an American finishing school for the summer and when returned home, she found it destroyed and all the residents dead and drained of blood. For a week she slept in her porcelain bedroom, unsure of what to do until one night, he visited. Taken by her beauty, he offered her immortality and goddess-like glory. In her vanity and desire for adventure, she accepted. His lips touched hers and time ceased. When she awoke, he was gone and she was fading. Luckily he had left her some sustenance and a note asking her to go back to America and await his orders.

After the turning

It was on the boat to America that she met the young vampire hunter, although she did not know what he was at the time. They quickly fell in love and as their wedding day approached, her hunger became insatiable and her craving for human blood took over. She was good at what she did and soon her hunter received orders from his superior to put an end to her. His love for her could not convince him to call off the wedding so instead they spoke their vows and sealed their bond with a kiss. That night, he knew he must carry out his orders and took an axe to her throat. Bereft, he was unable to make it past the first sever. He left her, bleeding in her white gown, and fled into the night. She has spent every day since searching for him, hellbent on revenge. She still craves human blood but seems to have found another way to satiate herself, by soaking it through the skin every third hour. She will never rest or want for love again.
