Racine Children's Theatre

Racine Children's Theatre Racine Children’s Theatre has been introducing young people to the magic of live theatre since 1933. Plays are generally one hour in length.

Prior to play weekend, kids get a newsletter, the “P***y Paper,” from P***y, the RCT’s popular elephant mascot, containing background information and activities. At the performances, P***y welcomes the audience and introduces the show. The plays are filled with action, humor, audience participation, imaginative story-lines, and catchy tunes to keep kids interested and involved. When a play ends, t

he actors greet fans, sign autographs, and pose for photos in the lobby. The RCT season has four “P***y Plays” with eight performances each: Fridays at 5:30 and 7:30 pm; Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Seating is general admission – not reserved – so you can always sit with family and friends.

Summer fun is in store with 2026 Summer Theatre Classes at the Racine Children's Theatre and Racine Theatre Guild!

Some class sessions are sold out and an additional Broadway Bound, Sr. session has been added. From learning how to be a triple threat to fairytale adventures to improv extravaganzas, there's a little something for all kids, ages 4 - 18. Needs based scholarships are also available for families.

Calling all fairytale and storybook fans, its nearly time for "Royal Melodies: Enchanted Again" to make a musical return.
