Racine Starving Artist Fair

Racine Starving Artist Fair The Starving Artist Fair is presented by the Racine Art Guild to fund scholarships and promote the visual arts in Racine County. Entrance is free.

120 juried artists, all art is under $300. Featured tents include:
- Silent Auction, selling donated art, proceeds go to our Scholarship Fund
- Art Raffle, raffling art made by Racine Art Guild members, proceeds go to our Scholarship Fund
- Racine Art Guild Boutique, selling Racine Art Guild artwork
- Kids Korner, offering free hands-on art projects for kids

Also available is a food court featuring a variety of food and drink as well as live music by local musicians.

All the great art you've been oohing and ahing over for the last few weeks... I know where you can buy some of that at a huge DISCOUNT! Who doesn't love a sale? Especially when it's for some amazing artwork. Where is this sale?

THE SILENT AUCTION!

Most artists with a booth at our fair will donate a piece to our Silent Auction where it goes on sale for a fraction of the original price! Sounds great, doesn't it?

The best part is 100% of the proceeds from the Silent Auction go to the Guild's Scholarship Fund which supports Racine residents who are pursuing a degree in Fine Arts.

WIN - WIN! You get great art at a reduced price and you get to support art in our community!

Racine Starving Artist Fair is this Sunday, August 3 from 9 - 4! One of the most-anticipated events of the summer is almost here. This FREE event on the Historic DeKoven Center grounds will feature the work of over 120 juried artists plus live music! Don't forget to stop at the food court, and bring the kids for some fun kids art activities, too.

The Fair is the largest juried art fair in the tri-county area with 135 booths, featuring a broad array of visual art: painting (acrylic, oil, digital, watercolor, and digital), mixed media, glass, ceramics, jewelry, printmaking, metal, yard art, fiber, photography, and wood.
