The Last of Us Part II was a good entry into the franchise, it definitely kept the same energy as the first but took creative liberties with the expansion into Abbys Backstory, Definitely wasn’t my favorite part of the game. Also pretty cutscene heavy which in many instances I was able to put the controller down and go for a short 15 minute walk, grab lunch and scroll instagram all before the cutscene was over. I’m not knocking this game, but it definitely felt longer with all those extended cutscenes and I felt it took away from playing the game (just my own personal opinion) otherwise the gameplay mechanics all felt great, and improved upon from the first entry.

Battlefield 6 was a decent entry. I’m not much of an online gamer but I did play a couple matches on the free online multiplayer mode. The story itself was short but action packed and it felt more like an older COD entry with the story and cinematic elements. Overall not much to write home about but I feel most of these War centered FPS games focus more on online multiplayer than the stories anymore.
