Quincy Raceways is entering into year 51 of operation. 50 years strong of great Sunday night racing in the Gem City and still going. We offer thrilling dirt track racing that will keep you on the edge of your seat along with other events throughout the year. Several tracks in our area have unfortunately cancelled due to heat this weekend, but luckily enough the heat wave is supposed to crack a little for us on Sunday! Plenty of shade and cold drinks available all night, plus a breeze out of the East. Bring those cars out to the Broadway Bullring and let’s have some fun, 360 Sprint Cars are returning and Monday is a holiday, no excuse to skip this week!

360 Sprint Invaders
Open Crate Late Models (UMP/IMCA, see below)
Open B-Mods (Draw/Redraw)
DIRTcar Street Stocks (Draw/Redraw)
DIRTcar 4 Cylinders (Draw/Redraw)
Crown Vics (Draw/Redraw)

-OPEN Crate Late Model rules are as follows: IMCA or UMP, NO mixing of rules. UMP must run NLMT 3 with RR NLMT 4 option, siping and grooving is allowed for all Late Models on 9/6. IMCA rules are the same as we’ve been running, any sealed 604 that was legal at Quincy in 2025 is still legal for the rest of 2026. We are planning to hotlap/qualify you with the winner of heat 1 to roll a dice on the front stretch to determine the feature invert.
-Factory Stocks and IMCA Stock Cars/Hobby Stocks also allowed to race with our Street Stocks.
-Reminder that reserved pit spots are not guaranteed for special events. We will try to put all the Sprints in the overflow area, more info to come on that.

Next up at the Gem of the Gem City, Sprint Invaders!

Parrish Trucking is bringing you the action with the return of the 360 Sprint Cars! Last year’s race was spectacular with Paul Nienhiser taking the trophy back to Chapin, IL and Mother Nature won back in June. Who will come out on top this time?

Joining the 360s will be Open Crate Late Models, Open B-Mods, DIRTcar Street Stocks (Factory Stocks and IMCA Stock Cars/Hobby Stocks also allowed), DIRTcar 4 Cylinders, and Crown Vics. DIRTcar points awarded for Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders, no IMCA points.

Late Models we are planning to hotlap/qualify you with the winner of heat 1 to roll a dice on the front stretch to determine the feature invert. The dash came back this year, so let’s bring the dice roll back for a night too!

Thanks to Logan Cumby and Skipp Dunker we are also having a “Promoter’s Challenge” where Adam Bill and Matt will see who can turn the fastest lap in the #3 Crown Vic! This will be something new and unique, don’t miss it!

🏎️ DRIVER INFO🏎️

-First, please remember to join our group Quincy Raceways Drivers Only to stay up to date with relevant info throughout the rest of the season, and turn on notifications for the group.

-The Order of Events is subject to change in the best interest of the track surface, etc.
-Check-in Ends at 5:45. If you are running late, call before 5:45 to get checked in or you will start last in your heat. Please have your transponder number ready if applicable.
-NO track registration fee! Driver Registration sheets must be completed at check-in if not already done. These are available at the pit shack.
-Transponder rental $20
-Weekly classes with 10 or more cars in the pit area will have one free pit pass drawn for the class’s next weekly event, winner excluded. These are for the winners only and are non-transferable. Winner must have started the feature. This week’s winners are:

Promoter’s Challenge!

This Sunday September 6th we will be doing the Promoter’s Challenge. Myself Logan has decided to set this up as a way to give back to the 3 main ones that have been behind the scenes all year. This is for them to have a little fun doing what they have spent a ton of time on for you guys to have your fun throughout the year. So it’s their turn to enjoy it for a couple laps a piece.

After heat races finish, Bill Tournear, Adam Brocksieck, and Matt Wentura will head to the front stretch in their fire suits ready to go. Skipp Dunker will pull out on the front stretch with his Crown Vic. I will be standing there with 3 chips for them to draw to determine the order of running. They will then strap in and each have a green white checkered practice session to see who can turn the fastest lap. We will watch MyRacePass and use the transponder to determine lap times. We have all decided that this is not for money and bragging rights only! The person with the slowest laps out of the 3 will have a punishment before the night is over!

If you guys know these 3 you know you’re not going to want to miss this event! Hope to see everyone for this Sundays Sprint Invaders night!

More great racing last night!

Congratulations to our 2026 class being inducted into the Quincy Raceways Hall of Fame! Some awesome history and supporters in that group, plus some great race car drivers.

The Late Model Dash Finale was one to remember as Jake Griffin and Tommy Elston threw slider after slider at the end with Griffin coming out on top of the $2000 to win finale. Thank you again to the Heartland Towing & Recovery crew for hosting the dash all year, they are great supporters of racing!

A reminder that the Sprint Invaders join us this Sunday for a Labor Day weekend special, and MLRA • Midwest Latemodel Racing Association joins us on September 20th for their make up race. Lots of horsepower and speed coming up, don’t miss it!
