We are excited to announce that we be filing for official 501(c)3 status within the next few months!

Once approved, there will be structural changes and a renewed focus: But that focus will help us zero in on what we do best and grow the company better and stronger from there.

The renewed focus will also allow us to be a better influence in the community around us. By this time next year, we may look a little different and our mission and vision will be more polished, but our goal remains the same: to bring uplifting and joyful entertainment to the community around us, inspiring the young and old alike.

Do you enjoy theater? Want to be involved in the successful production of a show? We are currently hiring volunteer stagehands for our upcoming production of PYGMALION. Since we are non-profit, the role of stagehand does fulfill the necessary requirements for High School and local College Community Service credits.

Today was our final in-person performance of THE INFAMOUS SHERLOCK HOLMES. We are grateful to have been able to share this staged radio play with wonderful audiences within our senior community! Also, we are excited that we will be sharing it with you, our home audience, next month!

On Sunday, October 25th at 7 PM our "YFE Theater on the Air" Podcast will premiere THE INFAMOUS SHERLOCK HOLMES!

The podcast stars: Charles Hughes, Lauren Sabbag, Timothy Pick, Katie Kuhl, Ty Dillon, Matthew T. Kinney as Watson and Bryan Sabbag as Sherlock Holmes.

What better way to celebrate the week of Halloween than with a fun mystery? Our podcast can be heard on many major platforms including iTunes, Prime, YouTube, and iHeartRadio.

We here at YFE are excited to begin our 2026-2027 Season with an afternoon performance of Orson Welle's Radio Drama: THE INFAMOUS SHERLOCK HOLMES today at the Springhouse Senior Living Home in Jamaica Plain!

Recently, a few people reached out to us asking why we used AI to create our radio plays; not if but why. We would like to take a moment to emphatically state the following:

1. All of our radio plays are created by artists for our audience.

2. None of our actors voices are AI generated, nor will they ever be.

3. All of the scripts we utilize are either written by our creative team without the use of AI or are old radio plays in the public domain.

4. All of the sound effects used are either created by us or sourced from other creators. Not 1 single spoken line or effect are AI generated.

We here at YFE Theatrical Productions take pride in the fact that every show we have worked on and every upcoming show are 100% created without the use of AI. In this mixed up world, we choose imagination over regeneration.

We are also pleased to announce our upcoming season for YFE Theater on the Air, our staged radio play touring group. This season we will be offering THE INFAMOUS SHERLOCK HOLMES as our non-Holiday themed radio play and A CHRISTMAS CAROL for the Holidays!

Performing at our local senior centers and nursing homes, we are excited to share these stories with our senior communities!

We are pleased to announce YFE’s 2026-2027 Season! The Fall will begin with mystery as we present our radio podcast episode of THE INFAMOUS SHERLOCK HOLMES written by Orson Welles. As the Holidays approach, our radio podcast will present THE GIFT OF THE MAGI, adapted by Robert Sloane from O. Henry’s classic novel.

And finally, this coming Spring we will present our stage production of PYGMALION! Performing at the First Congregational Church UCC of Randolph in early May 2027, this production will feature many of the actors from our recent 13-month staged radio play tour! This a show you do not want to miss!!

We cannot wait to share this upcoming season with everyone!
