Only a few weeks left to register! Tickets go live on 6/11!!

ALL the proceeds from our Talent Show Fundraiser go towards producing our one hour staged radio plays for nursing homes and senior centers. Many nursing homes do not have a lot of funding for recreation and we perform these shows free for our senior community.

However, that doesn’t mean we don’t have expenses. From mileage costs to get to the senior centers/nursing homes to props and actors’ time. Our goal is to create a fund that we can pool from to help create these free shows for our senior community!

Our encore performance of PYGMALION: THE STAGED RADIO PLAY wrapped up today at the Traditions of Dedham Assisted Living Facility. Today’s show starred Johanna Wald, Katie Kuhl, Joe Rich, Megan Sullivan, Matthew T. Kinney, and Charles Hughes.

We also have great news to share! Due to popular demand, we have decided to bring the full stage production of PYGMALION back for Spring 2027! As a result, we will be retiring the radio show (for now) so we can focus on producing the stage play for next year!

That said, our repertory group YFE Theater on the Air, will be offering Orson Welles’ THE INFAMOUS SHERLOCK HOLMES radio play as our non-Holiday themed show. And this Holiday Season, we will be bringing back A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE RADIO PLAY to tour senior centers and nursing homes!

Any homes/centers interested in booking us should email our producer, Josef Silvia, at [email protected].

We here at YFE are preparing for one more encore performance of PYGMALION: THE STAGED RADIO PLAY for Traditions of Dedham, an assisted senior living community tomorrow at 2 PM!

We have been honored to bring this joyous 60 minute version of George Bernard Shaw’s classic play to so many people within the last 13 months. And we are grateful to our wonderful repertoire cast members for the great work/passion they have brought to this project and all of our supporters who have helped make this past year successful.

Finally, we want to thank the directors of our 2024 PYGMALION production, Grace Elin and Sarah Feeney, for laying the foundation this radio play was built upon.
