Hello community!
What an incredible, challenging, and inspiring year and a half it has been with this project. After a lot of hard work and incredible community support, The Grove is finally going to be open!
Before getting into the opening details, we want to send a massive THANK YOU to everyone of you who have contributed to the creation of this venture. Whether you offer your time, skills, finances, or opinions, this community base has become the most integral part of this project.
Membership opens on Saturday February 1st! The Grand Opening will be in two parts. The first part, 6pm-8pm, will be an open studio where people can come and go as they please, touring the space, and joining an open conversation about memberships, operations, and desires for the future. The second part, 8pm-10pm, will feature live music from the amazing Alex Lemnah, with a chance to immerse yourself in the founding creative community of this space. You're also welcome to bring creative projects to work on throughout the evening if you're inspired to do so!
The ceramic studio and multimedia studio will be the first spaces open for members. A membership provides unfettered access to these studios. Through the first couple months we will offer some classes exclusively to our members, and will eventually open classes to the community.
The Active Creator Membership will be $50/month. We are limiting the Creator memberships to 50 people to start. This limit will help us understand the flow and function of the space.
Eager to be in the 50? Memberships can be purchased anytime this week via PayPal, Cash or Check. Open access to members will begin Sunday February 2nd.
If you would like to purchase a membership prior to the grand opening this weekend. Reach out via Email and we can get you set up for success!
For those who want to support the project, but don't require studio access, you are welcome to become a Creative Supporter. Donations of any kind will put you on the list for first access to information about our community classes!
We will gratefully accept any hand-me-down art supplies!
We are also interested in plugging in established creators to teach classes, so whether you or if someone comes to mind put us in touch!
We are so excited to set sail with this project, and we are, once again, so grateful for the support and impact that this wonderful community has contributed!
Below is the official flyer for this weekend's event, so please share with friends and family, and we will see you on Saturday!
