Does your child turn the living room into a concert? Sing into the hairbrush? Know EVERY word to their favorite songs? It’s time to hand them a REAL microphone. 🌟

Introducing MIC DROP! — A 6-Week Vocal Performance Camp with Miss Faith!

Designed for young singers who LOVE music and want to become more confident performers, MIC DROP! gives students the chance to learn, sing and perform in a fun small-group environment!

🎶 Learn healthy vocal technique
🎤 Sing with a microphone
⭐ Build confidence
🎶 Learn harmonies
✨ Develop stage presence
🎤 Work on solo moments
🌟 Learn how to PERFORM a song — not just sing it!

And at the end of our six weeks… THE MIC DROP SHOWCASE!

Our singers will put everything they’ve learned together and perform for their families!

No previous voice lessons required — just a love for singing!

Join us in congratulating our 2026-27 Second Solo Recipients!

Doing a solo is no easy feat, but doing two solos is a whole new level of difficulty! These 7 dancers were nominated for this opportunity by VPAC Company Coaches because of their preparedness and consistency in their competitive classes! Last night they went through an audition process to ensure another routine could be added to their plate, and all 7 were rewarded with a second solo routine for the 2026-27 dance season! They will learn a full routine in just 3 short months and get ready to grace the competitive stage in February!

Kylee Rae, Isabella, Ava, Hayden, Izzy, Amari, and Laila, we are so proud of you for this amazing accomplishment!

We are so excited as our first performance opportunity is near! Our Lift the Barriers dancers will be spreading Holiday Cheer alongside the Vancil Performing Arts Center Bay City Troupe & Petite Troupe on their annual Christmas Tour!

Lift the Barriers is seeking donations to offset costs of our dancers’ performance t-shirts and Santa Hats! We will also be putting proceeds towards professional pictures in their outfits and parental entrance into VPAC’s Christmas Showcase!

Give a warm welcome to our vocal instructor, Faith Castleberry! Let's meet her...

She is 22 years old and has an Associate of Fine Arts in Music Performance with an emphasis in voice from John Wood Community College. She is currently attending Quincy University, where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in Music Education.

In her free time, she loves playing board games with her family, going on adventures with her fiancé, Hunter, paddle boarding, and anything theatre-related. She’s also a big St. Louis Blues fan, loves collecting funky earrings, and enjoys spoiling her dog, Sadie, and her sister, Maddie.

Her favorite snacks are Goldfish and Swedish Fish, she’s a Dr Pepper fanatic, and she firmly believes that pink is definitely a personality trait.

If you are interested in taking lessons with Faith, give us a call at 217-222-6857! She has open slots on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting at 5:00pm!
