Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to postpone the workshop scheduled for tonight and tomorrow (8/12 and 8/13). We’ll announce the new dates soon.

However, the Story Slam is still scheduled for 8/25, Thursday at 7:00 PM at Calftown Cafe. Hope you’ll join us!

Big news! We've set the times for the August workshop, practice, and Story Slam. The workshop for people interested in learning the process of how we present our stories is on Friday, August 12 from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, August 13 from 10 AM to 12 PM. You'll need to plan to attend both sessions, please.

Then for those who want to present a story, we'll have practice on Monday, August 22 at 6 PM, where we'll all critique each others' works.

The Story Slam will be on Thursday, August 25th at 7 PM. Anyone who is new will get support in preparing for the Slam, if they wish.

After the workshop, you'll be added to the Q-Tell Storytellers page, whether or not you choose to present a story at the next Slam.

Everyone has a story to tell!

Our line up of storytellers will be hard at work this weekend honing their storytelling skills and preparing their stories for our first event.

Details for this event will be announced next week.

If you are interested in telling a story at one of our upcoming events we will be offering a storytelling workshop this summer.

Thank you for liking our page. We have had several people inquire about Q-Tell since we launched our page and wanted to tell you a little about ourselves.

A little over two years ago Rebecca Anderson from Ear Shot Stories hosted a storytelling workshop at First Christian Church here in Quincy. This workshop focused on teaching participants how to grow as storytellers and foster interpersonal connections through the practice of storytelling. The workshop concluded with a storytelling event in which participants shared a 3-5 minute story before a live audience.

Since then it has been our hope to continue to practice and share the art of storytelling in the Quincy area. Thus, Q-Tell was born.
