When the flood of my thoughts are about to crash on the shores of my brain,

The relay race of emergency fears over shadow my sanctity, never winning the game.

I shut the lids of the windows to my world.
-Im learning to trust my process, it's as precious as how India chased pearls.

It's cliche to say that I'm different from most girls-
You'll figure it out-when you're born standing out from the rest sometimes you just want to blend in like a chocolate swirl.

We'll deep talk so quick, I'll challenge your brain like it's going for a twirl.

Now going back to my peace,
My piece of how i keep my peace
Something as simple as it's recognizing my own condition.
I'm teaching myself How to stay cool, keeping my vision.
At the end of the day it's only me that keeps me accountable for completing my mission.

We can only help ourselves if we listen.
To that little voice in our head that tells us to stop bitching
About how the world is this and that
We create our own world it's a mo*********ng choice to live it, blissin.

So the next time you think you're about to lose it

July 5-15th I'll be in isolation, she finally got me! I was wondering what was up, just got the call today-I will say, the rapid test gave me a false negative and my PCR test 3 days later confirmed positive. I'll also say, I'm lucky my chest never hurt and I didn't have problems breathing, ham doullah! Had i not had the vaccine--i probably would have had it worse and for longer.
I did have a solid 3 days of a fever, body aches, stuffy nose, sore throat, chills, nights sweats, day sweats (i sweat out all my demons), and 5 nights of nightmares. Now i just cant smell anything so I've been sniffing all my flowers, herbs, fruits and oils trying to revive my olfactory nerves.
I will also say, 1 doctor was ready to write me a script for ANTIBIOTICS for possible strep (before even ruling it out with the rec to start and just stop taking it if strep was r/o which is horrible advice and contributes to antibiotic resistance aka superstrep can kill me next time) and another doc wrote me a script for STEROIDS to which i took for a day bc I was so desperate to get my life back in line 😆 but HEY NOW IM ALL ROIDED TRYNA MOVE ALL THE FURNITURE IN MY CRIB! WHAT'S REALLY GOOD?! JK

Patiently waiting for the twins' time! What advice would you give your younger self? Id tell her, dont become jaded, dont harden your heart just bc it's been broken, dont fear moving forward bc that means jumping back into the dark abyss of the unknown. Now what to do? DO reflect on where you went wrong, DO take responsibility for the consequences of your choices, DO stand up for yourself when needed but DO it in the kindest way, and DO the work so that you're ever growing into a more whole and accepting individual--learning more about yourself as you learn more about the world, AND vice versa.

Where do we belong? For me, a weekly trip outside into nature is necessary to a balanced life. If I can't make it upstate, I head to a park or a garden--phone on airplane mode. Touch the grass, close my eyes, inhale the fresh--let the sun warm my face, let the breeze blow back my hair, listen to the birds, the wind brushing past the branches of every tree--inhale breathe, exhale release. Release all the worry, tension, fears, doubts. Inhale, accept, embrace the ever flowing abundance entering your existence. Love is all around you and within you. You are such a gift to this world just as the world is a gift to you.
