This skull silicone mold is about to get a serious upgrade. I’m turning the inside into a druzy finish so every casting has that gorgeous crystal-like texture and extra sparkle built right in.

I love taking a design that’s already cool and adding one little detail that completely changes the look. I can’t wait to see how this skull turns out once the druzy texture is finished.

Found this skull carved from stone at a rock shop and immediately thought… yep, I need to make a mold of that. 💀🪨

I was REALLY hoping the holographic finish would transfer into the silicone, but it didn’t quite come through the way I imagined. Still… this mold turned out awesome. The natural carved-stone texture gives it so much character, and I’m kind of obsessed with how it came out.

Sometimes the experiment doesn’t do exactly what you planned… and somehow still wins.
