🌊 A O P - P A R T Y 🌊 What better way to celebrate our 2nd season as a dance ohana, with a night of fun, non-stop laughs, island grindz, competitive team building games and awards! This has become our place of belonging, our place of pride, and a place we call our AOP home! We truly are grateful for our amazing dancers, instructors, parents, volunteers and sponsors that helped make this season a success…we are so blessed to call you all ours! Mahalo to everyone who has trusted us in our vision and who continues to keep AOP alive! What fills our hearts is seeing these kids embracing our ‘together time’ as dance family and that WE get to build these core memories that will impact them forever. We hope you enjoy your summer and much needed family time, but remember come August…we’re back at it again for season 3! We love you all! 🌺

Very thankful to be invited by to come out and do a cultural presentation for their grand re-opening. Being in our communities sharing our culture is a founding principle for this program to not only teach our children through song and dance, but to expose others to the value and traditions of our ways of life through song and dance.

🌺 BYU - Living Legends & Rugby Luau 🌺 Our AOP dance fam had the opportunity to attend BYU’s ‘Living Legends’ show, and it was an amazing night of dance, culture and growth. What an experience for us to cultivate the various cultures across the Americas and Pacific all on one stage.

We hope that our keiki’s will grow to appreciate the wonderful cultures that surround them and embrace that as the ‘children of the pacific’ we come from a very strong lineage of mana, talents, and power within us all. We hope that our AOP children follow in the footsteps of these BYU students…be proud of where they come from and embrace it wherever life leads them. Thank you ‘Living Legends’ for an great performance!

We also had the opportunity to perform for a luau, so fun to be able to share our culture with those in our community. Thank you Red Mountain Youth Rugby team for allowing us to be part of a fun event! 🤙🏼

🎵 Musical Instrument Museum 🎵

Thank you MIM for inviting us to be part of an amazing event, “Experience Polynesia.” What an honor it was to bring smiles to the many faces as we shared the beauty behind Tahitian drumming. We were blown away by the amount of people that had the desire to not only watch, but to also learn how to drum to the beats of the pacific. 🌊

Our vision of Alo Ole Pasefika is to educate, perpetuate and embrace our Polynesian culture by sharing it through song, dance, and building community. Through the dedication of our dancers, drummers, instructors, and volunteers, our AOP’s vision thrives and continues to reach people throughout Arizona. Mahalo for being here, and following us on our journey! 🤙🏽
