Fun social-emotional learning After-school club classes Ages 5-9 Superheroes Club with Ms. Porsh'a learning Culinary, Yoga & Mindset and an end of the month party

The Clubhouse is a fun Animated curriculum from Casey's Clubhouse for ages 9-11 to learn social emotional and work through social school issues and behaviors with an end of the month party. Support Groups: Banana Split for children dealing with parents changing parental situations or Super Siblings for siblings of children with big behaviors or emotions. Ages 7-11

Funeral Buddy Bereavement Services before, during and after a close death for ages 3-11

Sibling Doula birth support for including your children ages 3-11 before during and after birth

Private one on one: Therapeutic Play Sessions for changing families and children with big emotions. Helping children maintain healthy mental health and wellness, maintain skills learned from past clinicians. Support to build healthy self esteem & confidence while dealing with changing family dynamics. We help changing families build stronger connection, communication before correction.

I keep getting questions about wanting more pictures with my clients in them.

A Quick Update that's not so new. We even explain this to each child, and if they take pictures of things during appointments and groups, they follow the same rules.

We will no longer publicly share or use photos of real children, except for hands, etc. We do not share even partial images of real children on social media, my website, or in advertising.

Explaining cremation to a child at Ever After Institute Mock Prep Clinic and our Funeral Buddy role for cremation.

1. Clear, honest, and simple language

2. Clarify that the body has stopped working: Before talking about cremation, make sure the child understands that the person has died and their body is no longer working, breathes, eats, or feels anything.Reassuring them that the process does not cause any pain.

3. We avoid confusing phrases: we do not say the person "went to sleep" or "went away," young children might take this literally and develop a fear of sleeping or separation.

4. We use gentle, concrete terms: Explain that instead of being buried in the ground, the body is placed in a special, very warm room.

5. We explain the ashes: we tell them the process changes the body into soft, powdery pieces, often called ashes, that look like a soft sand or dust.

6. We show the container: Explain that the ashes are placed into a special container called an urn.

7. We take them to a funeral home or meet the family there for support and do a child appropriate tour while the adults are in their meeting making adult decisions.

8..We advocate for alternative space for the children attending the service or memorial to go make meaningful memorial pictures, items and bereavement bears stuffing station.

9. We attend and support the children
