I’m excited to share my newest Arborosaurs!

“Descended from Arborosaurs” is 24x24” on canvas. While I did NOT finish it in time for the gallery show I wanted to submit to, it is right on time for ArtsFest at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center Sept 19-20!

My last Arborosaurs sold within 2 days of being finished. If you’re interested in this one and don’t want to risk it selling at ArtsFest, contact me sooner and it can be yours!

Oh my goodness! It looks like we never posted a proper event graphic for this workshop coming up on Thursday.

This form of abstract fiber collage is so peaceful to create and is a perfect way to unplug and slow down during this very busy time at the end of summer. In this workshop, you'll be guided through ways to use scraps to make an abstract landscape design, ways to use needle and thread for expressive mark-making, and tips for incorporating beads and baubles into your design. At the end, you'll mount your finished fiber collage in a shadowbox frame (frame provided!) and take home your totally unique piece of fiber art that is ready to display.

Quick hop to Lancaster today with my daughter! We dropped off one of my paintings for an upcoming exhibit at lancasterartvault, stopped for a treat at brambleandberryicecream where I have some art in the print bin, and then off to the outlets for some back to school shopping!

Taylor 🐾 is now the official mascot of Paint your Pet at The Whimsy, so we just had to give our event graphic a glow-up. Join .canino.art and Taylor the dog on Saturday, August 29 for our second Paint your Pet! @ The Whimsy workshop - the sign up link is active on our website now!

Marisa has been painting pets for a long time and is ready to make this process accessible for even the newbie-est beginner to painting. You will provide a photo of your pet in advance and it will be sketched out on the canvas before you arrive, letting you just enjoy the process of painting without having to worry about "knowing how to draw". This class is appropriate for adults or older teens ages 16+.

Good news, we've got your Saturday plans all lined up ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅

We know you're not used to us being open on Saturdays, BUT WE ARE OPEN TOMORROW - SAT 7/25!

There are still spaces available in the morning Teacup Sun Catcher Workshop with Marisa Canino Art and the afternoon Draw a Fox Workshop with artist Alana Beall.

In between, we will have special Weekend Art Buffet Hours from 1-4pm! Visiting the Art Buffet is your chance to make whatever art makes your heart happy using our supplies for a drop-in fee ($10 for an individual or $16 for a family). Bring your kids, bring your mom, bring your bestie, or come on your own!

Grab a coffee or a bite from , visit while you're in the neighborhood, and make a day of it here in beautiful downtown Glen Arm.
