Hi there - it's me

To say what a treasure
You are to me
And how truly exceptional
I find you to be

A more beautiful person
I never have met
For your heart's just as warm
As it can possibly get!

Always ready and willing
To listen and share
When you say "How are you?"
You honestly care!

Sometimes life's challenging
And sometimes life's tough
But you my dear friend
Sure sweeten it up!

Hard as you work
As much as you do
You've sure got some credit
Coming to you

You're needed and depended on
In so many ways
And you always come thru
Day after day

Unfortunately it's unsaid
More often than not
But you can be certain
You're appreciated - alot!

There's something important
That I need to share
I don't mean to offend you
It's just that I care

I know you're hurting
Because you cannot forget
Past choices you've made
And now deeply regret

You'd go back and change it
If only you could
To do it right this time
You're sure that you would

Well - those feelings are human!
We all make mistakes
Some big ones - some little ones
But whatever the case

There does come a day
You must let your heart know
It's time to forgive yourself
It's time to let go!
