Comedy Cult auditions are COMING!!! Save the date!

If you can think fast, commit to a bit, make people laugh, or just enjoy controlled chaos, come audition September 3 after school in the Black Box.

And this year, Comedy Cult has a new fearless leader: Aaron R. Thompson — actor, director, playwright, improv veteran, and former leader of Banditos Improv.

No polished monologue. No dramatic crying on command. Just bring your wit, your energy, and your willingness to make questionable choices (school appropriate of course, lol) for comedic purposes.

September 3. After school. Black Box.

Valley Viking Theatre is heading down the rabbit hole with Alice in Wonderland, and we’re looking for students ready to bring Wonderland to life.

AUDITIONS

⏰ 4:30–6:30 PM
📍 Room 517 — the Black Box Theatre

Please prepare:
• One-minute monologue OR nursery rhyme — from any show! Keep the spirit of Alice in Wonderland in mind.

• 30-second a ca****la song — any song works, even Happy Birthday! Not every role sings; we just want to hear your vocal type.

New to auditioning? Come anyway. You do not need to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.

🎭 INTERESTED IN THEATRE AT VALLEY? COME MEET US!
Whether you’re already part of Viking Theatre, brand new to Valley, or just wondering what all the theatre kids are up to — come hang out with us this Friday!
📅 Friday, August 21
⏰ 4:30–5:15 PM — right after school
📍 Viking Head Courtyard
🍪 Refreshments provided.
ALL students interested in theatre are welcome — every grade, every experience level. Actors, techies, backstage people, artists, builders, costumers, future directors, or anyone who just wants to check it out.
Freshmen and new students: come meet some people before the year gets rolling.
Returning students: come welcome the new crew and reconnect.
Parents are invited too! Come meet the theatre community and learn more about what’s ahead this year.
Current students will lead some activities, we’ll answer questions, and we’ll talk about our full 2026–2027 Viking Theatre season:

Summer isn’t over just yet — and our Valley kids are still out there creating!

This weekend, Elsa and Lily take the stage in She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers Edition at StageCoach Theatre!

Agnes and Tilly’s adventure gets a whole lot more exciting with fierce warriors, mysterious characters, demons, monsters, and plenty of chaos along the way. It’s a fun, fantastical final production for StageCoach Theatre for Young Performers! - Directed by our very own LV Morgan Smyth!!!

A rabbit is rushing, the clock’s ticking fast,
And Wonderland’s calling — your chance is here at last!

Perhaps you’re a Hatter, a Queen or a Cat,
A curious creature — imagine that!
A card in the court, or an Alice who’ll roam,
