April 1st, a day I won't be forgetting along with April 1st, 2012! 14 YEARS in total of Infinity Dance & Cheer!
I have gotten the best years in this little studio and making it into a second family for me and many! I have tried writing a closing post SO MANy times and keep erasing because how do you put into words all the amazing kids and families I have got to meet, teach, becomes friends with, my own kids gaining some besties, and all the support I have been given all these years into one post! I CAN’T.
One of the main words I have always preached to my studio kids is you can't say CAN’T, because you always can! So yes, I know I just said that bad word.
BUT......
I CAN'T thank each athlete enough for allowing me to push them, do silly dance parties, trusting me, letting me come up with some crazy ideas (that sometimes work!), watching you on stage, grow in your skills and allowing me and my family to be a part of their journey. I can't thank you enough.
I CAN'T thank each of these athletes’ parents and siblings enough for allowing me to love your kiddos, push them, the love and support you have given this Studio and myself. I can't thank you enough.
I CAN'T thank this community for allowing me to open a business and always supporting these kiddos! I can't thank you enough.
I CAN'T thank the past instructors enough for coming in and helping teach these amazing kiddos! This also includes all of my office helpers and assistants; this place wouldn't have made it without you! Yall have been rockstars! I can't thank you enough!
I REALLY CAN'T thank Hailee Smith enough for EVERYTHING. From introducing you to the whole world of Cheer and Dance you have been right by my side since you were 7. This has been the only studio you have known, and I feel so incredibly privileged to have gotten to coach you all these years! I'm so blessed I've gotten to see you at all your performances and events and I've seen you grow in your skills and coaching- so freaking Proud of you! You have gone from a little dancer/cheerleader putting yourself in every single class you could(even the baby class),to competing and your dad telling me there would be no way I would get you to do a solo and WOW you won it! Now, you’re this incredible teacher, choreographer, coach to many and one amazing assistant to me! You're the other half to my brain and I'm so excited I get to stay on this journey with you! I really can't thank you enough, and I love you big!
Lastly, I CAN'T thank my family enough! You have helped so much with this studio! From building props, to hanging banners, bringing up dinners, to driving and spending your days at competitions. You have given up so much for me (games and events) and Infinity and I can't thank you guys enough!! I love you so much Jeremy, Braden, Hailee, Abbi, Drew, and Cooper-forever grateful for each of you!
So, I guess "CAN'T" isn't always a bad word because I really can't thank everyone enough for giving me some of the best years, but athletes remember you always CAN do anything! I can't wait to see what the future holds with Twisters Cheer & Dance!
So not a total goodbye, just a see you soon just down I-35!! ♾️ ➡️ 🌪️
