Sorry I've been MIA. But I have been so busy with getting T.A.P on its feet, teaching acting classes and practicing for our Christmas play. A lot of my hard work is starting to help T.A.P take some huge leaps so I will be posting more often. This is a poet I posted this morning
UUUGGGGGHHH davasted and jumping for FREAKING JOY!!! Devasted because I have to cancel my freaking Christmas play because I have no kids! Jumping for joy because not one, not two , not three, not four but 7 of my kids and one 19 year old that have been taking acting classes with me have all been booked into some amazing projects starting this week! 4 weeks ago T.A.P was invited to submit its actors into the Midwest "pilot season" auditions. And I reluctantly did.....thinking it would be a great experience for my acting students and plus they get to use what I taught them in class...and thank you God....Alex, Shawna and Kanitra have been offered a one year 2019 Macy's/Dallas market catalog/advertising contract for the Midwest region and oh, Alex was offered a national contract! Funny thing is that Alex is not your typical kid, he's a self proclaimed nerd and that nerd was chosen from over 7 thousand submissions. power!
Kayla and Ivy will be heading to Lawton next weekend with supporting roles in a for theatre movie starring Leonardo Decaprio. Kayla is also on a $5000 hold with Macy. Carol has made it, through video submission, into the next round for the voice and will be leaving next week to compete. ! And lastly my 19 year old Tee has been offered a role in the acclaimed musical Hamilton as it travels through the Midwest! She is leaving today to meet the show. I want to give a huge shout out Kendra Washington and Chris Miller for believing in my kids and giving them all not just a chance of a life time but for giving them and their parents refound hope that dreams can com true.
Stay tuned as I will be posting pictures as soon as advertisers issue a release.
