YMCA of Southwest Florida is pleased to announce Michael Quinn as its Chief Philanthropy Officer.
He brings more than 15 years of transformational fundraising and development leadership across healthcare and higher education. In this role, Michael will lead the strategic vision for philanthropy across YMCA of Southwest Florida, advancing a comprehensive approach to fundraising, donor engagement, and philanthropic growth that supports the Y’s mission and long-term priorities throughout the region.
Michael brings extensive experience building and scaling development programs, developing multi-year philanthropic strategies, strengthening donor engagement systems, and creating sustainable revenue growth aligned with organizational priorities. Throughout his career, he has partnered closely with executive leaders, physicians, academic leaders, and community stakeholders totranslate complex priorities into compelling philanthropic opportunities.
He is also recognized for building high-performing teams and cultivating strong cultures of
philanthropy, while developing meaningful relationships with major donors, institutions, and community leaders. His data-informed approach to fundraising includes deep expertise in donor engagement, pipeline development, and organizational alignment.

As Chief Philanthropy Officer, Quinn will provide leadership across the organization’s philanthropic strategy, working with staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for philanthropic investment. His work will support the YMCA’s continued growth and its commitment to positively impacting individuals and families throughout Southwest Florida.
