Two great golden age comic book artists were mentors of mine. I started studying adventure style comic art under Frank Giacoia (Spider-Man) and, when he passed away, Joe Giella (Batman) took over my training. They were fantastic people to study under. I learned so much from both of them. I was very fortunate. For the animation style cartooning, I studied this on my own. I drew every day for 8 hours when I was in college and after I graduated so that I can perfect my skills. Remember the three rules of becoming a great artist. 1. Practice. 2. Practice. and 3. PRACTICE!
