Wonderland Bonsai Hi! We’re Dylan & Kaylee 🌿

What started as a shared interest quickly became a hobby we love. Welcome to our little Wonderland.

We enjoy creating tiny trees with personality and sharing the journey along the way.

It’s almost impossible to keep up with this powder puff with how quickly it grows!

Repotting Tabitha, our yellow tabebuia pre-bonsai, before the end of the season. Her root ball had become so dense she was lifting out of her training pot whenever the wind blew. She’s wired down tight now with more room to grow roots wide.

Pruning our favorite powderpuff as a storm rolls in. As soon as this video ended we ran around the garden trying to save trees from the unexpected winds. Luckily, everyone is alright!

Someone had this great Cuban Laurel growing in a pot in their yard. Hard chopped, repotted into a large nursery pot, and now we wait!

About six weeks ago we hard chopped this Ficus benjamina forest pre-bonsai. We gave it a little extra room because of how these trees can be, but it has pushed tons of new growth with very little dieback. Better than we had hoped for! Hard chops are tough, but so worth it when the tree responds positively!

🐇🌿 Just a little rabbit hopping through Wonderland… no idea where he’s headed, but apparently our patio garden is part of the adventure. ✨
