The purpose of the Native American Women's Association (NAWA) is to address the needs and concerns of Native American people, with a special emphasis on issues that affect Native American women. NAWA encourages women of color to assume leadership roles on campus and become actively involved in the community. NAWA sponsors social, cultural and educational activities throughout the school year. In p

artnership with Ku-Ah-Mah, NAWA co-sponsors the Pah-Loots-Pu Annual Celebration, semi-annual Round Dances, and Native American Heritage Month. NAWA also sponsors a monthly Womenโ€™s Talking Circle at the Native American Cultural House.
