🌟🌟History on RSS Halftime shows🌟🌟
As a member from Dance Dimensions under the direction of Julie Stevens, In 1990 Teacher Keri began performing at BSU basketball halftime shows. In 2007 Teacher Keri opened and begun instruction for Rising Stars. Performing for local universities was an opportunity she wanted to pass down to her students. In January of 2008, RSS was invited to perform for WSU. For their very first performance, RSS danced to, “We’re All In This Together” from High School Musical. The opportunity was provided to every member attending their program. In 2009, RSS created a Dance Team class. Age appropriate levels were established for halftime performances. From there on out, costumes were designed and Novelty dance performances were provided for Washington State, The University of Idaho and Pullman High School. This tradition at Rising Stars carried on until 2019!! We are grateful for each opportunity our local universities provided throughout the years. RSS is extremely proud of their 2019 season. As Covid-19 was starting to hit the US, our team stuck together through colds, pneumonia and more! Each of our teammates contributed towards a fun and memorable season. Maybe one day, a few of these talented dancers will be on your television screen - dancing for your favorite team. We love all of our supporters and I personally would like to wish each of them with success in their future ! 💞- Teacher Keri
