In this drill you will shoot any object ball into the corner pockets as indicated by the lines. You will replace the ball after pocketing it. This is a never ending drill. The cue ball must not go forward but back come back into the lighter area. If you can make 100 in a row then change the lighter areas size. This drill will help you with ball pocketing and cue ball control.

In the photos I have shown the easiest way to make the one ball in the side. This is a 9 on the spot with the match room break box format. I place the cue ball straight in line with the 4 & 3 ball. I shoot straight at the 4 with low English. The 1 ball will bank off the rack and go into the side pocket. The cue ball will travel 3 rails back towards the break box. I have also found that placing the 2 ball as the back ball gives you a better chance for a shot at it. Give this a try and tell me how it works for you. I will be working on this more over the next week and I will share my updates.

So my leather work is starting to look better. It takes quite a bit of practice, but it feels so rewarding. I plan to make a custom one of a kind pool cue case and on top of that a travel case for the pool case. Once I get better and feel good about what I have done I will show some pics. I have OCD and I am a perfectionist so I have to keep myself in check or I will never be satisfied....lol

In this drill you have ball in hand and shoot the 15 ball in the corner pocket, but the cue ball must go one rail off the long rail and hit each ball just like the wagon wheel drill. This will increase your cue ball control on this very common shot. Better cue ball control means easier shots and more run outs!!
