Haunted Forest - 1979-1995 Pulaski-area haunted hayride in operation 1979 - 1995 In 1979, Charles "Chuck" L. Each year, more people asked Chuck about his hayride.

Rice held a haunted hayride for family, friends, and neighbors in the woods behind his house. Early flyers would simply request that everyone bring cider or doughnuts to share around a bonfire after the hayride. Eventually friends of friends were asking to attend and the hayride became bigger and bigger. Eventually there was so much demand for the hayride that Chuck began charging admission in 198

4 and started putting more energy and money into his spooky scenes in the woods. The hayride continued to operate through 1995.
