Hello Lovelies👋🏽Recognize this little guy from 1968? Or the parents perhaps?
✨️It's George Clooney at 7 years old! He looks a lot like his father, Nick Clooney who was known at the time for his work as a journalist, news anchor & variety show host.
✨️Also pictured, mother, Nina Bruce Clooney, and his older sister, Adelia.
Nina was involved in beauty pageants early on, achieving the title of 1st runner up in the Miss Kentucky pageant. She left the pageant life to build a career in local politics, serving as a city councilwoman in Kentucky. She also operated her own successful antique shop. Later she became involved in broadcasting as well, working as a local television host & writer, stepping into some production roles later.
✨️Adelia chosebto live a life outside of the Hollywood spotlight. When she was once asked about why she didn't pursue an entertainment job path, she said she realized she didn't have a "thick enough skin for it." She involved in local arts & literary groups, working as an art teacher & volunteer librarian for several years, as well as a bookkeeper.
**Not pictured is George's aunt, Rosemary Clooney. She is most known for her singing career, and her role alongside Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Vera-Ellen in the classic holiday film "White Christmas"(1954)--a lot more could be said about Rosemary, but I will save that for another time.
