⚠️ WEDNESDAY SEVERE WEATHER ALERT ⚠️
Apparently Mother Nature has decided Wisconsin has had enough peace and quiet.
Current forecasts for Wednesday afternoon and evening indicate the potential for:
• Damaging winds up to 70–80+ mph
• Large hail up to golf ball size (1.75") or larger
• A few tornadoes, some possibly strong
This isn't the time to say, "Eh, it'll probably miss us."
Now is the time to:
• Charge phones and battery packs.
• Make sure flashlights have fresh batteries.
• Have multiple ways to receive warnings.
• Know where you'll go if a warning is issued.
• Bring in patio furniture, flags, canopies, and anything else that doesn't need to become a neighborhood projectile.
And as always...
Standing in the driveway trying to determine hail size by comparing it to vegetables is not an approved meteorological technique.
Likewise, yelling "It's just a little rotation!" from the garage while filming vertically is generally discouraged.
We sincerely hope the biggest inconvenience on Thursday is listening to everyone complain that the forecast was overblown.
Be prepared. Have a plan. Stay weather aware.
