Hello racers and fans,

We’ve been hard at it and continue making great progress at High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill! Our season is scheduled to officially begin in May 2027, and we are anticipating some hot laps toward the end of this season.

Unfortunately, we also had someone decide our property was their new dumping ground. Not the smartest move — they left mail inside the trash bags. They were confronted, and the Sheriff’s Department is now handling the situation.

Hello racers and fans, the weather hasn’t been very cooperative lately, but that hasn’t slowed the momentum down at High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill 🏁

The transformation continues every single day, and we’re making huge progress across the facility! The concrete work is officially completed by High Plains Home and Ranch Services, all roof replacements are finished by Cornerstone Roofing & Gutter, and all the media blasting on the grandstands and railings is now complete and covered in fresh primer by Custom Linings and Custom Linings Industrial Solutions. Both fences are now finished as well by Colorado Barns, and the announcer’s booth renovation is officially underway and already halfway completed. Thanks to Earthwise Waste Solutions for the numerous rolloffs!

When we removed the old siding on the announcers booth, we uncovered one of the original Pickard’s Beacon Hill Speedway signs hidden underneath. After finding that piece of history, we felt it was only right to return it to the Pickard family. They are proudly putting it up in their shop where it belongs. Mike Pickard🏁

It’s incredible seeing this place come back to life piece by piece. There’s still a mountain of work ahead, but the vision is becoming reality. We can’t thank everyone enough for the support, encouragement, and excitement surrounding the return of racing to Beacon Hill. Bigger and better days are ahead! 🏁🏁

Hello racers and fans,

We’ve posted the divisional rules for next season. You can view them at the link below, and they’re also available on our website.

As we move forward, we’ll be making a few adjustments—particularly to gear ratios—after testing on the new surface. Our General Rules and Super Late Model rules will be released soon.

A couple quick notes:

Previous Sportsman class cars will now fall under the Late Model rules.

If you ran a Mini Stock, please contact us so we can determine if there’s enough interest to create a class.

If you have a car that you previously raced at I-25 Speedway or Beacon Hill Speedway and it does not meet the current rules, please reach out to us so we can discuss it.

Hello racers and fans! 🏁🏁

We’ve had some good progress this week at High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill, and things are really starting to move! Every day the place is looking more and more like a race track again, and we’re fired up about the direction things are heading.

Here’s what’s coming next week if the weather cooperates:

• New roofs and fascia going on every building across the facility
• Concrete work beginning in several areas
• More media blasting to remove the many layers of old paint
• Demolition of a couple more small buildings to clean things up
• New fencing going in behind the grandstands
• Grandstand railings getting painted

We’re also making some major improvements for the race teams. The pit entrance is being expanded significantly, which will make getting in and out much easier, and a brand new pit building is being constructed.

Week by week the transformation is happening. We can’t wait for everyone to see the progress as High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill comes back to life!

Hello Racers and Fans,

Here’s a small preview of what we’re dealing with as we prepare to begin the remodel next week. This is a massive undertaking, but we’re committed to getting it done and bringing this facility back the right way. 🏁🏁

We’ll be posting updates along the way so you can follow the progress as it happens.

The new asphalt surface will be laid after we make progress in several other areas and once the weather becomes consistent enough for proper installation and curing. There is also extensive concrete work that will begin soon.

And finally — we’re going to need some help.

Hello Racers and Fans! 🏁🏁

We have made some great progress on the track surface and things are moving in the right direction! Milling has officially started on the track and parking lot and it’s exciting to finally see the transformation taking place. The next step will be laying the new asphalt, but we’ll need about a week of consistent 80° weather so we can get it down and allow it to cure properly. This track is going to be something special! 🏁

Rules:
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we finalize the rules. We know racers are eager to get started, but we want to make sure everything is done right the first time. Our goal is to release a complete set of rules so we don’t have to keep issuing addendums. Taking the time now will make things much smoother for everyone later. 🏁

Crown Vics:
We will be releasing the Crown Vic rules next few weeks. Please hold off on starting any builds or tearing cars down until the rules are officially posted. We don’t want anyone removing parts or making changes that could end up going against the rules. We’re working hard to make this class as user-friendly and affordable as possible. 🏁

NASCAR Classes:
We will be following the same rules used by our local Colorado tracks. 🏁

Legends and Bandoleros:
We will be following INEX rules. 🏁

Front Wheel Drive:
We will be following rules similar to those used by our local Colorado tracks. 🏁

There is a lot happening behind the scenes and the progress being made is exciting. The return of High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill is getting closer every day, and we can’t wait to see the pits full and the grandstands packed again.
