General information
Pueblo Dam and Reservoir, and the Fry-Ark Project of which they are a part, are all owned, operated, and were constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation under the Department of the Interior. Pueblo Dam and Reservoir were constructed from 1970-1975. The reservoir can store as much as 357,000 acre-feet of water. The dam is about 2 miles long. The reservoir offers about 5664 acres of surface area. Colorado State Parks manages recreation at Pueblo Reservoir and Lake Pueblo State Park.
