My commencement ceremony is finally here. It has been a hard couple of months, years, and so on, but I am still here, and the day I've been working towards has come. At 2 p.m. tomorrow my life transitions from being about what I've lost to about what I've gotten back. Thank you to all that helped me get to this point, whether you did so trying to make my life harder or by lifting me up. What goes around comes around and all deeds have rewards. Without you I would have become less than what I am now....one beautiful, intelligent, woman hitting the ground running. No big celebrations or the very much wanted keg stands, just me, my cap and gown, a degree, and acceptance of who I was. Who I am, and who I am becoming.
