Provincetown Portuguese Festival The 3 day event welcomes people from around the world who come to Provincetown to celebrate Portuguese Heritage & Culture.

There’s live music, dancing, parades, incredible food, and much more. The Blessing Of The Fleet includes a procession to MacMillan Wharf where Portuguese Dancers entertain the crowd before the colorful ceremony. Boats decked out in their finest line up to receive the blessing for a safe & prosperous year. With over 30 mostly free activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Nearly 100 vol

We had many wonderful Portuguese dancers throughout the week-end, and Saturday night, people took to the street in Portuguese Square to dance to the beat of the Samba Viva Band, followed by an amazing performance by the Samba Viva Dancers!

The Collum Cille Bag Pipers brought a wonderful sense of heritage to Provincetown’s Blessing of the Fleet with their traditional Scottish tunes.
We are proud to have them return every year to be part of the Procession of the fishermen carrying the statue of St. Peter, and the families carrying their boat banners from St. Peter the Apostle Church to MacMillan Pier, their touching music rising through the streets on such a meaningful day.
They finish the day with a concert in front of Town Hall!

Fado is always a special event during the Blessing of the Fleet and Festival week-end.
Beautiful melancholy, soulful voices filled the historic Town Hall with timeless, deep emotion, blending soul with tradition.
