Tomorrow night, Saturday Sept 12th, there will be a fantastic fundraising event for the Provincetown Art Gallery Association (PAGA). Come spend an evening at Fisherman’s Hall watching Anne Packard: An Artist’s Resolve, the remarkable story of one of Provincetown’s artists. After the film, director Arthur Egeli will have a conversation with attendees about this project. This event supports a great cause - PAGA was founded in 2020 when a group of gallerists got together over zoom to deal with the challenges of COVID. In the six years since, PAGA has become an invaluable resource for the commercial galleries in Provincetown. It fosters a spirit of collaboration between the nearly 30 art galleries that are critical to our town’s economy. The film is at 6 PM. Tickets are $25 presale or $30 at the door.

Through light, color, and gesture, Isaacs paints the feeling of this place without overexplaining. Brava, Valerie!!

Though many of Paul J. Rizzo ‘s pieces will soon be off to new homes, we still have some available in the gallery! “Blue Grey Socks and Sneakers” and “Self Portrait 39” are both beautiful new additions to his show, I Love All Of These Things (Analog).

Flowers debut as a subject in several of Paul Rizzo’s paintings. This small piece in particular captures the feeling of late summer wildflowers. Stop by the gallery tomorrow, Tuesday September 1st to visit with Paul, take in his paintings and sketchbooks and enjoy the sunflowers, zinnia and end of season hydrangea. We open at 11 every day and are open til around 7pm or whenever it gets dark.
