PLAY SUBMISSIONS CLOSE MARCH 31!!!!
📢 Attention Cape Cod Playwrights!
Helltown Players is seeking short plays for New Little Devils — the third installment of our celebrated short play festival, and this year we're doing something new: every play selected will be a world premiere.
If you've written a short play (under 20 minutes) that has never been fully produced, we want to read it.
To be eligible:
✅ Play must be an unproduced world premiere
✅ Playwright must have a Cape Cod affiliation. This needs to be more than "I spent a few weeks vacationing on Cape Cod when I was 12." There must be a meaningful connection.
✅ One submission per playwright
✅ Scripts in PDF format, following Dramatists Guild guidelines
Selected playwrights receive a $100 royalty and the chance to see their work performed at the Black Box Theatre at Cotuit Center for the Arts this October — with more venues to come!
Submissions close March 31.
