In a bit of shock.
When I was 14 years old, I had read about the Mike Diana case in The Comics Journal. I still read the Comics Journal to the very day…it’s always been one of the best place for journalism for comics in the world and it continues to be.
Never in a million years did I think one of my projects would actually be IN the Journal.
This is an honor. I can’t even express how much.
Thank you to Mike Diana first and foremost for trusting me to tell his story onstage. Thank you to the cast, the crew, everyone who supported us and saw it or who said a kind word. Thank you to Arlen Schumer for his terrific poster posted here. And thank you to Zach Rabiroff who wrote the article. I have to say, he wrote an article with integrity, intelligence, and care. He was WONDERFUL when talking with Mike and myself and was so respectful and kind to us, from start to finish.
