9:00 to 10:00pm – Weird Poetry Open Mic! – Trinity Brewhouse *basement floor*! (186 Fountain Street, 02903)
Our very own NecronomiCon ‘26 Poet Laureate Linda D. Addison is organizing this new addition for this year – Poetry Open Mic is a great place to read your poetry to a supportive audience and to be inspired by hearing the poetry of others. Each poet reads for 5 minutes or less. Our host will loop around the room until we run out of time. Come participate or just enjoy, and enjoy tasty b**rs and food while you’re at it. Open to all!

10:30pm to …? – Lovecraftian/Weird Bar Trivia! – Trinity Brewhouse *basement floor*! (186 Fountain Street, 02903) A NecronomiCon Providence tradition. Join author Pete Rawlik and prove your knowledge (or lack thereof) of weird literature, movies, television, music, and the people that make them. There will even be prizes – not good prizes, but prizes nonetheless. Oh, there’s also b**r (and food) – but you gotta pay for those. Open to all!

Perfect weather and a surprisingly chill vibe for tonight's WATERFIRE lighting ceremony at the basin. We were intrigued to overhear more than one group wearing NecronomiCon badges who were discussing the event in the context of rites, rituals, and weird fiction.

If you think your photos are better than mine (and you probably do), I want to see them. And I'd love to hear thoughts about what event means and is all about.
