These two passions often combine, and one of my favorite things to do is shoot concerts. I also shoot weddings, portraits, still life, and any other photography needs you may have!

Over the years I’ve been very fortunate to shoot nearly all of my favorite bands. One of the main holdouts for years was the legendary Iron Maiden. Two years ago, I got to photograph them for the first time, and this Wednesday I got the chance to do it again! It was my twelfth time seeing the band, and the setlist was amazing, featuring only material from their first nine albums.

Iron Maiden

Happy thirteen year anniversary to my friends Erin and Chris! This was one of the first half dozen or so weddings that I ever shot, and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

I remember doing pictures with the groomsmen outside Glen Manor, sending them inside, seeing my reflection in the big mirror as I walked in, and saying “uhhh Chris, I need you to come back out here and walk in again!” Still one of my favorite shots, all these years later.

And then, of course, there was that dreamy back lighting through the trees when we were doing the group pictures after the ceremony. Spoiled me for lighting that doesn’t always cooperate like that!

You guys had a vibe that night, that’s for sure!

Abby and Jameson had a beautiful wedding on Saturday night. The venue doesn’t have much in the way of outdoor scenery, but we found a corner of the parking lot where we were able to make magic happen at sunset! Once the sun went down, the vibes were strong as the dance floor opened up. It was certainly a night to remember!

I’ve known Kerri for nearly twenty years, and on Friday night I got to photograph her and Adam’s wedding!

They looked absolutely stunning, and had one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever been a part of. From their handmade decorations, to the meticulously crafted soundtrack, it was an unforgettable night.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McLadd!

When booked me to assist with a corporate event today, I didn’t realize I’d be spending a gorgeous Newport afternoon photographing conference attendees as they enjoyed a sailing excursion. Not sure who I ticked off to get this gig!!
