Playwright Gino DiIorio's truth telling comes to The Fringe! Born and bred in Providence, "Three Exits" will be his first play produced in his hometown. No stranger to having his original work produced, Gino's characters have engaged, thrilled and entertained audiences at theaters across the US and internationally. His play "Sam and Dede or My Dinner with Andre the Giant" had an Off-Broadway run at 59E59 in the spring of 2017. Recent awards and productions of some of his other full length work include:
Crib - 2014 Laurents Hatcher Award Finalist and produced at Playhouse on the Square, Memphis, TN in July 2018;
The Jag - 2010 Firehouse Theatre’s Great American New Play Award Winner and Finalist in both the Premiere Playwright’s Contest hosted by Kean University in 2010 and the 2011 Laurents Hatcher Award Competition;
Reparation - Yale Drama Series Finalist in 2010, 2011 E. Desmond Lee Playwriting Prize Winner (University of Missouri-St. Louis), with its World Premiere at Luna Stage in February 2012.

Karin Trachtenberg is double cast in this production of Three Exits at PVD Fringe as both its' determined, dedicated and frighteningly tenacious producer AND as its' sizzlin' and complicated "home wrecker" Karen - going at each with an energy that most people (of any age) can only dream of. Karin can be seen this coming weekend on the steps of Newton City Hall as Agamemnon in Iphigenia at Aulis with Newton Theatre Company of Newton, MA. You will also be able to see her work on the Showtime series SMILF this fall!

The "Handsome and Elegant" David Anderson (as described by Joyce Kulhawik) dives right in to the role of Adam. He's already up to speed having appeared in the staged reading this past spring at Newton Nomadic Theater. David was seen most recently in all his glory in "Love, Valour, Compassion" and the IRNE Best Fringe Play "Faceless" (which he garnered a best supporting actor nomination) both with Zeitgeist Stage Company. David thanks Gino DiIorio for providing an artistic vehicle wherein he can put his own midlife crisis to good use.
