Nearly a year ago we decided to officially put Strange Attractor to bed, but I finally updated the webiste to reflect as much.

We've loved making work together for the past decade under the banner of attracting strange and know that everything we made will always live inside of everything we're making. Jed and I are launching a new RI-based project soon and Aram and Roblin are always up to something in Philly and Juneau respectively. We may even make something together again at some point. Putting an end on something can feel really good tho -- closing the lid on a container lets me see the whole thing. It's a really beautiful thing, if I do say so myself. Thanks to all of you who joined us along the way.

If you wanna dig into a sweet archive of our work, I'm gonna keep this site up until Squarespace dies -- and even then I'll find a way.

Strange Attractor Theatre creates unexpected performance that challenges the popular conception of live theatre while engaging new audiences with original, high-caliber, physically devised work in Rhode Island, Alaska and Philadelphia.

We are surrounded by ghosts. We hear their stories through the objects, buildings, and traditions they’ve left behind. Priscilla Carrion is an amazing person. Among *many* things she was a crucial and joyful collaborator on last spring's project "She Died for Our Convenience." We're glad to help create space for her to heal her body so she can get back to making dreams come true. We hope you join us in this support.

Dear Friends and supporters of Priscilla near and far,In July last year, Priscilla fell hard in her backyard and twisted her leg, and she's been having trouble with intense pain ever since. Unfortunately, due to the need to work and survive, she didn't initially slow down enough to heal properly....

One month later and we're ready to show you the receipts.

We are surrounded by ghosts. We hear their stories through the objects, buildings, and traditions they’ve left behind. She Died for Our Convenience was a one-night-only choral haunting concerning the women who worked from 1898-1960 in the textile mill at the Earnscliffe Woolen Mill/Paragon Worsted Co. on Manton Ave in the Olneyville neighborhood in Providence, RI.

On the evening of May 4, 2019 we encountered a large community chorus, led by Chrissy Wolpert, singing melodies dedicated to the women at the very place they labored. We endeavored to sing the songs to unsung labor, while remembering that we are all but tomorrow’s ghosts.

Friends who want to see She Died for Our Convenience but didn't reserve tickets through the Eventbrite, it is apparently sold out, but that doesn't mean we're full. It's an outdoor space and we have room for literally hundreds of people. Please don't let the algorithms fool you.
