From Scratch PVD

FROM SCRATCH has been in Providence, Rhode Island for five years. Since we started, many amazing theater-makers shared the very beginnings of their work with us. What a treat! Some went on to become full length productions. Some, well, were one-off experiments of work that was never meant to be and became just for us. A handful of artists have even gone on to earn grants and fellowships, artists residencies, and more. It's exciting to experience the magic of ten minutes in a black box theater.

But we're switching it up this year. We are going to be taking some time off in the Fall of 2019 to bring heads together and make something happen for 2020.

From Scratch is off until March 2019! is building in the meantime. We're excited. You should be excited. Definitely donate to keep the venue going. They've been glorious hosts for us for four years! It's our home. We'll invite you back to Black Box Theater in a couple months.

Oh! People are saying such nice things as we build this grant for From Scratch PVD. An amazing amount of support from the small community we've built / are building / is ever expanding to include anyone and everyone who needs an art home for their weird and wonderful work. ❤️
