Come join us this weekend as Providence Comedy Underground welcomes Kendall Farrell this Friday and Saturday, August 28 + 29, in the lead up to the taping of his next comedy special ! Kendall is a New York City based standup comedian from Vermont. He won Vermont’s Funniest Comedian contest before moving to New York City where he was named a “Comic to Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival and headlined Caroline’s on Broadway as part of its “Breakout Artist” series.

He has been featured on Cracked, SiriusXM and Adult Swim, and performed at festivals across the country including the Brooklyn and Limestone Comedy Festivals. He opens regularly for national headliners including Ashley Gavin, Rachel Feinstein, Michelle Wolf, Drew Lynch, Liza Treyger and Matteo Lane.

We’ve been wanting to get this week’s headliner for awhile, so we are very excited to welcome Myq Kaplan this Friday and Saturday, July 31 & Aug 1, for his debut at downtown PVD’s Hide Speakeasy . Myq “Mike” Kaplan has appeared on just about everything, including the Tonight Show, Conan, Letterman, James Corden, Seth Meyers, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and America’s Got Talent. His newest special “Rini” is out on YouTube starting November 19, 2025 at 8pm Eastern Time.

He also has a half-hour special on Comedy Central, a one-hour standup special on Amazon called “Small, Dork, and Handsome,” and a Dry Bar special called “Live From The Universe,” as well as two podcasts, “The Faucet” and “Broccoli and Ice Cream,” and a book of his jokes illustrated by Ramin Nazer called “Heart Brain Art Train.” His debut album, “Vegan Mind Meld,” was one of iTunes’ top 10 comedy albums of the year, and his last album, “A.K.A.,” debuted at #1 and was called “invigoratingly funny” by the NY Times!

Our good friend Will Noonan was supposed to do the show a few weeks ago, but we had to reschedule due to a venue issue. We are very happy to have him back this Friday and Saturday, July 17 + 18, at downtown PVD's Hide Speakeasy. Will was named “Boston’s Best Comedian” by The Improper Bostonian magazine, is sometimes known as “The Honda Guy” for his years-long job as a spokesman in Honda commercials on TV and radio all over New England, as well as for his fan-favorite role in the Netflix movie The Sleepover.

He is well known for his internet presence. His social media accounts include notable followers like Barack Obama, Shane Gillis, Chris Fleming, Mark Normand, Gary Gulman, Joe Rogan, Jim Gaffigan, and Bert Kreischer.

Will has been the opening act for Bill Burr, Dave Attell, Andrew Schulz, Jack Whitehall, Colin Jost, Michael Che, Ari Shaffir, and many more. Brendan Eyre is one of the country's top club comedians, and one of the most creative joke writers we know. His laid back, relatable style has proven a hit with audiences all over the world. This Friday and Saturday, May 22 & 23, is one of our favorite weekends of the year! The Festival returns to Newport, and we are excited to welcome an amazing lineup of festival comics visiting from around the country to downtown PVD’s .

Then on Saturday, we welcome headliner Zac Townsend, a Nashville-based comedian and writer who tours nationwide. He has opened for Shane Gillis, Andrew Santino, Trevor Wallace, Theo Von, Bert Kreischer, Jessica Kirson, Steve-O, and Earthquake. Offstage, Zac co-created the viral sketch collective Paid Vacation, which has amassed over 150 million views across TikTok and Instagram. Fresh off her very funny Don’t Tell Special, we are happy to welcome to downtown PVD’s this Friday and Saturday, May 8 & 9. Kate Sisk is a New York City comic originally from Massachusetts. After playing for the Puerto Rico Women’s National Soccer Team, Kate came out as transgender and started performing stand up.

Kate has released featuring specials with Comedy Central, Don’t Tell Comedy, Cracked, and LMAOF. Kate has also been a house team improviser at the UCB Theater, written for The Onion, and co-hosted the popular podcast We’re Having Gay S*x.
