Join us for a stand-up comedy night at the Princess Theatre! 😂🎤
Headlining the comedy night is Sam Miller, a nationally touring comedian from Olympia, Washington. At 6-foot-6 and 360 pounds, Sam brings a big presence and big laughs. He has been married for 13 years, has two kids (one of them on purpose), and has been clean and sober for 15 years. Sam’s stand-up highlights the humor in being a sober parent and what jail is like in Yakima. His accolades include a #1 album on the iTunes Comedy Charts titled Round Trip, recurring appearances on The Bob & Tom Show, and writing for Newsweek. He was also the runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017.
Opening the night is Paul Goodwin, born and raised in Columbus, Mississippi. After moving to Washington state in 2011, Paul was inspired to try comedy as a way to share his unique perspective on the dualities of Southern living. He placed 3rd in the 2025 Seattle International Comedy Competition, won Cozy Comedy’s 2025 Washington’s Funniest Mammal competition, and was first runner-up in both the Tacoma Comedy Club Voice Competition and Nate Jackson’s Funniest MF’er Competition. Paul performs all over the Pacific Northwest, regularly featuring and headlining at top venues like the Tacoma Comedy Club and Spokane Comedy Club.
