Join us for our next night of laughs with headliner Scott Losse and opener Marcus Moreno!

Known to many as the viral "Pacific Northwest Guy," Scott Losse is a Seattle-based comedian and content creator who has been featured on Dry Bar, XM Radio, and Laughs on Fox. Whether he's talking about sheds, mountain biking, or the weather, Scott's dry observational humor resonates with audiences everywhere.

Opening the show is Marcus Moreno, a first-generation Cuban-American and 2014 Paraclimbing National Champion. Marcus blends disability advocacy with a charmingly irreverent look at life and family. His unique path has been featured on Good Morning America and in People magazine.

This Week at the Princess Theatre
By Christopher Rosselli, Executive Director, Princess Theatre

Art Shows, and Stand-Up, and Bluegrass and Jazz. There are always so many things going on here at the theatre. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all of the events we have here weekly. One of our favorite things we do on stage at the theatre are our student shows. The Princess Spotlight Academy has brought quite a few shows to life since we started the program.

This time, the academy steps into the world of William Shakespeare -- with a bold one and a half hour adaptation of The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of "Romeo and Juliet". Young performers will journey through the beauty and fire of Shakespeare’s language, discovering how timeless emotion lives within every line and where the echoes of the 1590s resonate with the rhythms and pulse of the present.

This will be an ensemble experience of high emotion, complicated and sometimes archaic language, sword fighting, and high drama around heavy subject matters. The young performers have shaped a Romeo and Juliet that feels uniquely their own. Working under the guidance of Huck Fletcher, who brought Gomez Addams to life on our stage back in October, the students spent two months diving into Shakespeare’s text and working on script analysis, necessary to discovering rhythm, emotion, and movement bringing words to life in fresh and surprising ways.

Performances will be Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, May 31 at 2:30 PM. The Green Room will open 1 hour before each show with a selection of hot sandwiches, charcuterie, candy, snacks, craft beer and local wines available for purchase.

Tickets are $15 per person. This event will be the last event included with the 2025-2026 Princess Pass. The new passes for 2026 – 2027 will be come active on June 1st.

I hope you get a moment to enjoy some Shakespeare and come and watch our presentation of “Romeo and Juliet.” I’m Chris Rosselli and I hope to see you this week at the Princess.

A newly formed organization called Prosser Pride is collaborating with the Princess Theatre to bring you a Pride Event like no other. An evening for friends and strangers to come together to celebrate the diverse and unique people of the valley. A night to celebrate love with the LGBTQ+ community and its allies and supporters. Grapes & Glitter 2026 will be the Premier Pride event for rural Washington.

We will be pouring pride in every glass, as we sample wines from over 15 participating local wineries. Explore a variety of wines: reds, whites, pinks, and bubbles, and get to know the owners and winemakers in attendance. It's the perfect night to taste, explore, and ask those questions you've always had with experts on hand.

We'll have both a live jazz band playing a set of standards and a professional DJ playing your favorite dance hits. Bring your dancing shoes and step out on the dance floor along with our special guests, there will be music for everyone to enjoy at different parts of the night!

James Beard-nominated chef Dan Koommoo’s Yakima-based restaurant “CRAFTTED” will be catering the event. The food will feature an outstanding assortment of delicious bites.

And don’t forget to dress to impress, if you want a chance at winning some amazing prices throughout the evening as our Drag Queen hosts select their favorite sparkly, festive and fun outfits. Additional fancy accessories will be available for you to try on for our step – and – repeat photo wall. Smile and say cheese, because these photos are going to slay!

All this and more in one glam and fun-filled evening!

Proceeds from this evening will benefit Prosser's Princess Theatre, an active non-profit arts/theatre center that brings music, joy, and the fine arts to Prosser and is proud to create safe space for LGBTQ+ teenagers and their friends.

This event is open to guests 21+ and All-Inclusive Tickets are only $85 and available on the Princess Theatre website, or ProsserPride.com. Wine, Food, Live music, Dancing, Drag and so much more!

Many thanks to PFLAG Benton Franklin, StarBright Consulting, Planned Parenthood Kennewick, Free Expressions Studios, and Renz Insurance for their support of this event.
