Seems like a good day of the week to highlight book news and it’s also become our regular ordering day for new stock.

So what’s new or restocked at Brewminatti?

Liane Moriarty’s new release Big Little Truths is the sequel to her bestselling novel Big Little Lies, it takes place 10 years after the original story the mystery begins when the principal receives a severed human finger in the mail… it will also serve as the basis for the planned third season of the Big Little Lies television series.

“Theo of Golden” is back in stock and features a mysterious stranger buying portraits from a coffeehouse and returning them to their owners while weaving stories and changing lives… soon to be a movie adaptation with Tom Hanks.

New stock on the way with surprise backorders showing up all the time.

We also have bookmarks, stickers, stickers about books. All the things. Stop in, place an order, download an ebook or audiobook. Ask your local independent bookstore what we’re reading and liking this week.

Was in this morning doing some prep in the early hours. If you haven’t been in lately the new books somehow make the place feel very cosy. Already looking forward to this fall with a book in hand and a good soup.

Today is the last day for advanced ticket sales for our Nordic storyteller event tomorrow night and the unveiling of the new evening menu. Save $5 plus I’ll know how many chairs to set up 😉

Trivia Tuesday tonight with questions starting at 6:30.

The menu tonight is Brinner with some drink specials. Blueberries for the waffles are inbound to the shop, Sonya’s biscuits and gravy, and if you haven’t tried the breakfast burritos for dinner yet 🙂 Now you can. Cheers all. Should be a fun one and tonight’s picture round was tailor made for about 99% of you all.

Busy night with fire just across the highway near the house. Thank you to all the firefighters who worked through the night. It was pretty surreal driving back home after closing time.

Up early this morning and we’ve got 4 drip pots lined up with our regulars Columbian brew, 2 different Ethiopia light roasts to try out, and a Sumatra Dark Roast. Breakfast? The burritos are solid, quiche, scones, bagel sandwiches, all the things.

This Friday, we unveil our new 4pm- closing menu for our Friday Nordic storytelling event with Casey Schissler tickets are on our website. Tried a few items last night and the Berzerker Lefse wrap is AMAZING. No notes.
