Happy 4th of July weekend! There are a lot of things to do in Downtown Prosser. The Prosser Farmers Market filled a taxiway with greatness to support us at our event at the airport in June. Tomorrow morning, we are returning the favor! Before you head off to your holiday BBQs and fireworks, come say hi to some of our crew at the Prosser Farmers Market.

The Prosser Flag and Flight Festival and the American Ballooning Community are taking over a booth at the market for ONE DAY ONLY!

🗓️ When: Tomorrow, Saturday, July 4th | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

📍 Where: Downtown Prosser Farmers Market

We are officially considering kickstarting our event for 2027, and we’re doing it with total local pride. Every single item at our booth—from our commemorative coins and stickers to our event shirts—features locally created designs and were produced by local merchants. When you buy local, you support local!

The Boeing CH-47 Chinook is a tandem-rotor helicopter originally developed by American rotorcraft company Vertol and now manufactured by Boeing Defense, Space & Security. AND ONE IS COMING TO THE PROSSER FLAG AND FLIGHT FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY JUNE 13! The Chinook is a heavy-lift helicopter that is the second-heaviest lifting Western helicopter to the Sikorsky CH-53

From the CH-47F unit:

Unit Background: The Washington Army National Guard CH-47F is stationed at Joint Base Lewis – McChord. The Washington Army National Guard Aviation provides support to both federal and state-assigned missions. This past year they provided support to the Travis Decker fugitive man-hunt, responded to record breaking flooding caused by the major atmospheric river event in central and western Washington and are postured to provide wildland fire fighting response throughout the state this summer.

The final posters are IN, and the countdown is ON! We are just over a month away from the Prosser Flag and Flight Festival, and we can’t wait to see the skies fill up!

🗓️ Mark Your Calendars!
We’ve got a jam-packed day planned. Here’s a sneak peek at the schedule you won’t want to miss:

8:00 AM: Kick things off with our Flag Raising Ceremony and the opening of the Prosser Farmers Market for their one day relocation to the airport!🍓🇺🇸

All Day Long: Grab a seat and look up! Watch airplanes, helicopters, and hot air balloons (weather permitting, of course! 🎈) drift and soar in and out of the airport.

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Head over to the Kid Zone! From drones and balloons to games, there’s plenty to keep the little pilots-in-training busy. 🚁🏃‍♂️

In the Auditorium: Take a break from the sun and catch incredible flight videos and presentations. We are honored to host world-class speakers, including Greg "The Boss" Wooldridge, former flight leader of the legendary Blue Angels! 💎✈️

Come for the flags, stay for the flight, and enjoy a day of community fun!

The Prosser Flag and Flight Festival is thrilled to announce a special partnership for this year’s event! We are welcoming the Prosser Farmers Market to the Prosser Airport for a special one day relocation that’s sure to add some extra flair to our aviation day.

Come for the aircraft, stay for the local treasures! We have an incredible lineup joining us on the tarmac:

4 Local Farmers with fresh seasonal picks 🚜

11 Talented Artisans showcasing unique handmade goods 🎨
