✨ We Can’t Wait for the Daffodil Festival! ✨

We are SO excited to be part of this year’s Meriden Daffodil Festival — it’s always such an amazing day filled with family fun, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

Come visit Furry Scaly Friends from 12:00–5:00 PM for an interactive, hands-on experience the whole family will love!

What to expect:
• Meet a variety of our friendly animal ambassadors
• Hands-on opportunities to touch, learn, and explore
• Special photo opportunities with some of your favorite critters

This is the perfect chance for kids (and adults!) to connect with animals in a fun, safe, and educational way — and snap some adorable photos while you’re at it!

Between the animals, face painting, characters, and all the festival fun… it’s truly a full day of memories for the whole family 🌸

We absolutely love events like this and can’t wait to share our animals, answer questions, and see all those smiling faces!

We’re upgrading our water bottles for our little crew — chinchillas, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits — and we need your help!

We’re switching to glass water bottles because they are:
✨ Cleaner (no bacteria buildup like plastic)
✨ Dishwasher safe (fully sanitizable!)
✨ Strong & chew-proof (no more constant replacing!)
✨ Better for our animals AND the environment

🐰 Rescue Bunny Update 🐰

We wanted to share an update on our sweet rescued bunny family. Each one of these girls is up for adoption 💕

Speckles (Mom)
A gentle and cautious mama, Speckles is still a bit shy—and that’s completely okay. She’s learning that she’s safe now and taking things at her own pace. With patience and love, she will continue to come out of her shell.

Blossom 🌸
True to her name, Blossom is really blossoming! She enjoys being held and petted and is quickly showing her affectionate, social personality.

Clover 🍀
Clover is very curious and starting to explore more each day. She’s showing lots of interest in people and her surroundings.

Petal 🌼
The more reserved sibling, Petal is still a bit shy but slowly coming around. We’re excited to watch her confidence grow.

All four girls are doing great with litter box use and are making wonderful progress every day 🤍

We can’t wait to continue watching their journey—and to help them find the patient, loving homes they deserve.

🐰 Rescue Bunnies Looking for Loving Homes

We currently have four sweet rescue bunnies looking for their forever homes. 💕

These girls came to us after learning they were going to be released outside when their owners moved. Unfortunately, domesticated bunnies would not have survived on their own — so we stepped in to help.

They are:
✨ Approximately 3–4 years old
✨ All female, may go solo, 3 do get along very well.
✨ New Zealand rabbits/mix
✨ Doing well with a litter box
✨ A bit shy and nervous at first, but gentle and deserving of patient, loving homes

With time, love, and a calm environment, they will continue to come out of their shells and make wonderful companions. 🐇
