Senior Spotlight, up next is Alexis Turner

Alexis is going to Huntington College, and received a merit scholarship for her GPA. She has also been accepted to the 2026-27 Huntington College Bowling Team.

While at Cabell Midland she was a member of the National Honors Society, her weighted GPA is above a 4.0, and she will graduate with honors. She was also the featured twirler for the Cabell Midland Marching Knights.

Senior Spotlight, first up Isabelle Swindler .

She has earned the presidential scholarship to University of Cincinnati for academics, which will be full ride. She will be majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. At Fairland High School she has been an active member of the FHS soccer team, track team-captain sr year, dance team-captain sr year and dancing at Nancy’s. She has a 4.6 GPA, she’s in MU Theta Beta Club, president of Dragons Eye, she’s on the quiz bowl team and she participated in Youth Lead Prevention, Prom committee, literature club, Future of medicine, civic leaders of America, Spanish club, clean & green. She earned Senior Salute & is graduating Summa Cum Laude and in the top 15% of her class.

Special Senior Sunday to our own Dr Chloe Napier who has earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Kentucky. It happens to be a double doctorate as her husband earned his Ph.D. at the same time! Congratulations Chloe!
