Happy Birthday, Eric Carle!!

Eric Carle (1929–2021) was a beloved American author and illustrator best known for creating the classic children's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. His distinctive art style featured hand-painted, collage-like illustrations made from colorful tissue paper. Over his career, Carle wrote and illustrated more than 70 books, many of which introduced young children to nature, animals, numbers, and early learning concepts. His books have been translated into dozens of languages and have inspired generations of young readers around the world.

Jim Dine is an American artist, born in 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio, known for his contributions to Pop Art and contemporary art. While often associated with the Pop Art movement, Dine developed a highly personal style using recurring symbols such as hearts, bathrobes, tools, and Venus sculptures. Working in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and poetry, he has spent more than six decades creating expressive artworks that blend everyday objects with emotion, memory, and identity. His work has been exhibited in major museums around the world and continues to influence artists today.

Happy Birthday, Christo!!

Christo (1935–2020) was a Bulgarian-born artist known for creating large-scale environmental artworks with his wife and artistic partner, Jeanne-Claude. Together, they transformed landscapes and landmarks by wrapping buildings, bridges, and natural features in fabric. Some of their most famous projects include Wrapped Reichstag in Germany and The Gates in New York City. Their temporary artworks encouraged people to see familiar places in new ways and often took years of planning and collaboration to complete. Christo's innovative vision made him one of the most influential environmental artists of the 20th century.

Happy Birthday, Frank Lloyd Wright!!

Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most influential architects in American history. Born in Wisconsin in 1867, he designed more than 1,000 structures and completed over 500 buildings during his career. Wright developed the concept of “organic architecture,” creating buildings that harmonized with their natural surroundings. His most famous works include the Fallingwater house in Pennsylvania and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. His innovative designs, use of open floor plans, and emphasis on natural materials continue to influence architects around the world. Wright died in 1959, leaving a lasting legacy in modern architecture.
