35 Years ago today, on May 1, 1991, Thespian Troupe 4906 was formed. Today we celebrate the origin of Crook County High School Drama, the commitment of the 450+ students who’ve been inducted across 4 decades, the dedication of the troupe directors who’ve kept the troupe afloat, and the legacy of the countless people who’ve set foot in this theater, as an actor, as a crew member, a musician, a writer, a designer, a director, a stage manager, an audience member or anything in between. To anyone who has ever called Troupe 4906 their home, today is for you. Happy Birthday, 4906!!

Drama Club Haunted House & Halloween Bake Sale! Come down to Crooked River Park by Les Schwab Field and support these amazing kids! This event was planned, promoted, and performed by CCHS students. We’re raising funds to attend the state theatre festival in Salem this spring. We’re open tonight until 9pm and Halloween night from 6-11pm! Happy Haunting! 🎃

We absolutely loved hosting Leianna and Tiago, the Teaching Artists from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s School Visit program! Over 80 CCHS students participated in their workshops this week, and even more than that got to see their hilarious performance about Shakespeare’s fool characters. Thank you to OSF for this important program and thank you Tiago and Leianna for bringing your talents and your inspiration to Crook County!
