Hawaiian music kiosk stores located on Kaua`i, in Hawai`i. We have 2 store locations on Kaua`i. One is in The Coconut Marketplace Shopping Center in Kapaa. The other location is in the Princeville Shopping Center near the entrance to Foodland grocery store. We have a 400 CD player at both locations so you can listen to any/ every song on any CD we have. SILENT DRIVE FOR VITAL KKCR EQUIPMENT
The Need: KKCR has been hit with some equipment failures this year that fall outside of our already strained yearly budget. Some of this equipment is pretty old and needed retirement. Some is a big surprise. Since we already replaced our broadcast equipment this year, we are asking for special support. (2 days after posting this we have met 79% of the goal. We are floored by your support. Mahalo nui loa.)

When updating the broadcast consoles, the on-air phone failed, so we replaced it with the phone from Studio B. A new phone will create redundancy against the other phone of equal age failing and keep interactive community radio alive.

These fail in the harsh Hawaiian elements. We have historically replaced one every 4 years. This A/C will be placed in the stainless steel casing we already have. It keeps the transmitter cool and running optimally at Nihoku, our main transmitter site on the North Shore.

I have been really blessed to have Hawaiian music in my life for many years. I LOVE Hawaiian music and I LOVE all the wonderful , talented, l artists that I have met over the years in business . I have owned 2 Kiosks here on Kauai`i which made it so much fun to come to work. This was my store at the Coconut Marketplace Shopping Center in Kapaa.
