A big thank-you to the City of Princeton, Minnesota through the Princeton W**e & Spirits Grant for supporting the Princeton Inclusive Playground Project!
This grant will help fund poured-in-place surfacing at Princeton Primary and Intermediate Schools. This soft, cushioned, and smooth rubberized surface provides a safer, more accessible route for students to navigate the playground using wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Unlike traditional wood chips, this stable surface makes it easier for students with mobility challenges to access playground equipment and participate in play alongside their peers!
Accessible surfacing is a HUGE part of creating truly inclusive playgrounds, and we are so grateful for this support. Together, we are working toward playgrounds where every child has the opportunity to play, connect, and feel included. 🧡
Thank you, City of Princeton, Minnesota, for helping make play possible for ALL! 🧡🛝
